Overview
NHSS12D M1/M2 Registered Traffic Management Operative (RTMO) status covers temporary traffic management on single carriageway urban and rural roads. T1/T2 Trainee category allows the learner to work on single carriageway roads under a qualified 12D M1/M2 RTMO and/or supervisor. Fully qualified 12D M1/M2 RTMO status allows the learner to work on single carriageway roads to establish a TTM site for works purposes and install passive and positive traffic control measures as part of a TTM crew. Recognised by National Highways, Transport Scotland, Welsh Assembly and Transport NI on their rural and urban road networks.
Who should attend?
All persons needing to become an M1/M2 Registered Traffic Management Operative (RTMO) as described in the Sector Scheme Document 12D.
Prerequisites
Anyone new to the industry, or without other current NHSS12ABCD TTM skills registration cards/certificates, must complete and hold a valid TTMBC certificate before attending the T1/T2 training courses.
